About the position

The Inventory Control Material Handler at Agilent Technologies is responsible for supporting various manufacturing operations, focusing on materials handling, quality inspections, and maintaining accurate records. This role is crucial in ensuring that materials are efficiently managed and that products meet quality standards, contributing to the overall success of the distribution hub in Memphis, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of support duties within the manufacturing environment.
• Handle materials, including shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.
• Prepare and maintain applicable records and documentation.
• Enter data into or access information in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

Requirements

• May require some higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in inventory control in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift is strongly preferred.
