About The Position

The Inventory Control Specialist at Schneider Electric is responsible for managing materials related to production, ensuring accurate inventory records, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize inventory processes. Requirements

• Inventory planning and inventory management experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management processes.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Supply chain management knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with ERP / Inventory control technical transactions.
• Good written, verbal, reading, and math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to manage materials related to production.
• Develop and maintain cycle counting strategies that align with company targets.
• Strategize to efficiently determine and process obsolete material.
• Develop and monitor a program to ensure kanban material aligns with production volumes.
• Execute daily inventory analysis; identify and resolve discrepancies and potential shortages.
• Ensure maintenance and accuracy of all records related to inventory transactions, including cycle counts and audits.
• Oversee stock item master, identifying incorrect descriptions and stock numbers.
• Locate items with incorrect locations or stock numbers to assist order processors.
• Communicate with the Purchasing Department regarding new items, location changes, and counts.
• Ensure milestones and goals are met.
• Perform and assist with general maintenance and cleanup of the warehouse.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
