About the position

The Inventory Control Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Operations and Supply Chain teams by ensuring timely service to both internal and external customers. This position involves learning and adhering to company policies and procedures while maintaining an efficient flow of materials necessary for effective operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong working relationships with internal customers.
• Receive purchase orders and perform data entry and documentation into the ERP system.
• Pull parts for scheduled work orders and coordinate their delivery to Operations.
• Review and maintain the RMA area for vendor corrections and monitor for responses.
• Organize and maintain the inventory room in good order.
• Create and maintain labeling for all inventory.
• Process ownership, possession, and teardown units for disposition.
• Perform cycle counting and housekeeping.
• Work additional hours or flexible hours as required to meet business needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in a Supply Chain function.
• Must have ERP experience.
• Ability to create and administer a task priority list based on company needs.

Nice-to-haves

• Preferred Quantum ERP experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
