About the position

The Inventory Control Analyst at Kem Krest is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy within the warehouse. This role involves conducting inventory audits, monitoring data for discrepancies, and collaborating with operational teams to enhance processes. The position emphasizes effective communication of results and continuous improvement in inventory management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and complete daily ABC cycle counts audits throughout the warehouse in the time allotted.
  • Maintain the goal for all sites with location accuracy and quantity accuracy.
  • Communicate daily, weekly, monthly results to leadership and team through email or meetings to celebrate successes or identify root cause of issues.
  • Monitor data and investigate missing inventory to identify root cause.
  • Follow company adjustment approval processes for inventory adjustments.
  • Investigate consistent data issues and missing inventory to identify root cause.
  • Work directly with operational teams to train or improve processes to minimize issues.
  • Lead standard work responsibilities including training and sign-offs on all work instructions for inventory functions.
  • Attend required meetings with site or inventory teams.
  • Support process improvements and tasks outside of daily responsibilities.
  • Assist the Operations Team with the daily operation of the warehouse.
  • Provide information as to product locations within the warehouse.
  • Complete cycle counts as requested by After Sales, Order Processing or Operations and provide results and feedback.
  • Make product moves within the warehouse as requested.
  • Assist Operations in Scrap Outs.
  • Support operations with customer fulfillment.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn multiple systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to be trained or qualified to operate warehousing equipment (forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack, pallet riders).
  • Ability to travel to other sites.
