About the position

The Inventory Control Specialist will support the Inventory Control Team by efficiently managing all inventory control functions. This role involves monitoring, reconciling, and ensuring the accuracy of inventory levels and transactions, while collaborating with various teams to address inventory-related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Process Change PO release per Warehouse teams requests.
  • Process transfer requests between MQ and MQE WH per Orders teams requests.
  • Process transfer requests among various warehouses within TX site per Warehouse teams requests.
  • Process part out requests and ensure sufficient inventory to support the requests prior to approval.
  • Daily monitor the MQ Damages and Returns email to ensure transactions match with Epicor.
  • Monitor CG US cancellation emails, request RMAs as needed, and follow through to ensure correct transactions.
  • Daily monitor negative quantity and reconcile inventory to find causes and correct as needed.
  • Daily monitor CG CA adjustment emails, compare them against data downloaded from the Wayfair portal, and determine necessary adjustments.
  • Submit tickets to Wayfair for discrepancies or questionable adjustments.
  • Follow up to ensure tickets are resolved.
  • Use a shared Google sheet to share adjustment status among team members.
  • Reconcile inventory files of CG CA, completing at least non-matching SKUs once a month.
  • Collaborate with Ecom Specialist and BKK team regarding incorrect OB orders due to EDI issues.
  • Monitor first-time items to CG to ensure immediate receipt to avoid zero cost sales orders.
  • Collaborate with IT team for cost adjustments if sales occur before receipt completion.
  • Familiarize with tasks of other team members during their PTO.
  • Monitor material supply flow and identify shortages or bottlenecks in usage.
  • Identify and resolve problems relating to inventory.
  • Participate in the year-end inventory count.
  • Perform required administrative tasks and prepare reports.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in Inventory.
  • Strong numerical reasoning and data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Good interpersonal skills for communication with suppliers and colleagues.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and flexible with adaptability.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2+ years of previous experience in Inventory.
  • Experience with Epicor ERP system.
