About the position

The Inventory Control Specialist at G&C Food Distributors is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels in the warehouse. This role focuses on resolving discrepancies identified during daily aisle checks and ensuring the integrity of product lines handled by the company.

Responsibilities

• Confirm and correct inventory issues/checks.
• Assist in managing returns, overages, and shortages.
• Spot check pallets and verify the validity of damaged products.
• Answer driver calls after 3pm, Monday-Thursday.
• Report any discrepancies to management.
• Communicate with the inventory control group to document and correct over and short shipped boxes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding and utilization of the NCR system.
• Bilingual preferred.
