About the position

The Inventory Control / Supply Chain Manager at Vacuum Truck Rentals, LLC is responsible for overseeing and monitoring inventory levels, replenishing stock as needed, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. This role involves collaborating with the Corporate Parts Director to develop and implement inventory control systems, negotiating with vendors, and analyzing supply to meet internal and external demand. The manager will also engage in long-range forecasting and planning to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed
• Work with Corporate Parts Director on developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices
• Liaise and negotiate with vendors to ensure price and quality of purchases and deliveries are best suited for purpose
• Analyze and review supply to internal/external demand to identify and resolve current and future issues
• Perform and/or manage regular stock checks and report issues to CPD
• Oversee all stock purchases along with transfers and shipments
• Develop functional KPI's and processes to improve current practices
• Engage in long-range forecasting and planning with the CPD

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Inventory Control / Supply Chain Manager or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of inventory control and supply chain management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
