About the position

Inventory Control Warehouse Associates play a crucial role in managing inventory within the warehouse environment. This position involves conducting cycle counts and assisting with various duties that are essential for keeping track of inventory and correcting any discrepancies. The associate will be responsible for inspecting pallets to ensure that the products match the SKU, which is vital for maintaining accurate inventory records. Diligent inventory management and reporting are required to ensure accuracy at all times, which directly impacts the efficiency of warehouse operations and customer satisfaction. In addition to inventory management, the associate will help ensure that clients receive their orders in proper condition and in a timely manner. This requires a proactive approach and the ability to work effectively as a team player, supporting customer service, outside sales, and showroom sales staff. The role demands a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders within the company. The associate will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. This includes managing inventory, conducting cycle counts, and assisting with corporate inventory counts. Following proper receiving protocols, including thorough product inspections, is essential to ensure that all products meet quality standards before they are stored or shipped. Additionally, the associate will inspect forklifts and other warehouse equipment daily, reporting any issues to the warehouse lead or branch manager to ensure operational safety and efficiency. Effective communication with customer service staff regarding any order discrepancies or issues is also a key responsibility. The associate will assist other warehouse associates with questions about inventory or orders, upholding all warehouse safety protocols and instructions. Attending safety meetings and helping to conduct safety inspections are also part of the job, ensuring that all team members are aware of safety practices and procedures. The associate must maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times, multitasking and prioritizing work through effective time management while working cooperatively in a team environment. Overall, this position requires adherence to the company's defined policies, procedures, goals, and directives, along with a willingness to take on any other duties required of this position.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Excellent Phone, Email and Computer skills
  • Ability to lift 80 lbs.
  • Prior warehouse experience is a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Close attention to details and high level of accuracy
