About the position

At Dr. Reddy's, we are dedicated to making the breakthroughs of tomorrow a reality today. As an Inventory Controller in the Supply Chain department, you will play a crucial role in enabling procurement and materials management, specifically focusing on inventory control of printed packaging materials that support our OTC and Rx products at our Contract Packaging Organizations (CPOs). Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the CPOs have sufficient supplies of printed packaging materials to maintain uninterrupted packaging operations across all lines. This role requires meticulous materials management and inventory data management analyses, ensuring 100% accuracy at all times. You will identify methods to order the appropriate volume of materials to prevent supply gaps while avoiding excessive ordering that could lead to cost overruns. Additionally, you will manage the supply of printed packaging materials with the correct level of financial control to meet corporate fiscal policies. In this position, you will develop strong business relationships with the CPOs to enhance Dr. Reddy's ability to grow its business and improve supply capability through effective materials management and inventory control. You will serve as the buyer for all printed packaging materials, including bottle labels, internal folding cartons, patient information leaflets (PIL), printed lid stock for blister packaging, shipper labels, and other related components for both primary and secondary packaging operations for oral solid dosage forms. Your role will involve creating Purchase Orders in SAP, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely and complete packaging of DRL products by all CPOs, thereby optimizing product supply and customer availability. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels by frequently reviewing stock levels and conducting site visits to compare inventories between the CPO ERP system and Dr. Reddy's SAP system. This position requires a thorough understanding of procurement processes and the ability to build strategic relationships with partners.
