As an Inventory Controller at our industrial electronics manufacturing company, you will play a crucial role in providing inventory support for both ongoing and new operations. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain an organized stockroom and ensure accurate documentation of the company's inventory using our internal ERP/TCM software. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently manage stock levels and ensure that all inventory processes are followed meticulously. In this role, you will be expected to learn and utilize the company's ERP software to track and manage products and materials. You will work closely with the sales team to schedule new shop order entries and will be responsible for pulling orders and staging parts for work-in-progress (WIP). This may involve packing items, sealing packages, and affixing labels. You will also receive, inspect, and unpack boxes of new inventory, ensuring that the quantities received match those on invoices and purchase orders. Properly tagging and locating received items in their designated places is essential, and you must maintain a high level of organization and efficiency. Additionally, you will manage the current stock of products and materials, organizing them by job number. Collaboration with the Purchasing department will be necessary to maintain proper inventory levels of commonly used parts and shipping supplies. You will also work with the Quality Control (QC) team to report or reject any damaged or incorrect incoming parts. Furthermore, you will assist the engineering and production teams in determining specific material needs and required dates. Experience with forklifts is preferred, as you may also assist in shipping and packaging units as needed.
