About the position

The Inventory Data Entry Clerk position is a temporary role focused on accurately entering and managing purchase order confirmations from vendors. The role requires attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure discrepancies are resolved and production schedules are maintained. This position is temp-to-hire, offering a pay range of $18-$22 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and identify emails for vendor/factory confirmations.
• Review all information on the PO confirmations and identify any discrepancies.
• Contact buyers, vendors, and/or supervisors to resolve discrepancies.
• Update all information in systems once confirmation is correct, sign and scan the confirmations back to vendors.
• Review and identify any emails regarding PO vendor changes.
• Revise purchase orders, update systems, and return a revised PO back to the vendor/factory.
• Identify any purchase orders that require pre-production samples or compliance testing.
• Communicate requirements internally with Quality Assurance or Product Compliance teams.
• Identify missing confirmations and communicate these with the vendors/factories.
• Run weekly reports for the logistics team for updating container arrival dates.
• Follow up weekly with vendors/factories to assure production schedules and promise ship dates are met.

Requirements

• Proficient in data entry and typing with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience working with databases and ERP systems.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook for communication and scheduling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle clerical tasks efficiently.
