About the position

The Inventory Data Entry Clerk at General Technologies, Inc. is responsible for accurately entering product and inventory information into the company's database. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can type quickly and efficiently while maintaining data confidentiality. The position is crucial for ensuring that the company's data is accurate and easily accessible.

Responsibilities

• Enter data from documents into ERP system from files and documents including but not limited to Excel, Word, PDF, etc.
• Sort and identify products based on visual product description and/or SKU and enter data into system based on criteria
• Combine and rearrange data from documents where required
• Verify data and correct data where necessary by comparing it to source documents
• Check completed work for accuracy
• Additional other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a data entry clerk or similar role
• Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
• Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
• Basic understanding of databases
• Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
• Great attention to detail
• High school degree or equivalent
