About the position

Our client is seeking an Inventory Demand Planner who will be responsible for forecasting future demand for core items, promotions, seasonal products, and new arrivals. This role is crucial in ensuring that inventory levels are maintained optimally to meet customer satisfaction and business needs. The Inventory Demand Planner will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide daily guidance and oversight, ensuring that all aspects of demand planning are executed effectively. The position requires the identification and analysis of demand forecast risks, developing mitigation plans to maintain optimal inventory levels. Regular planning and updating of forecasts for new products, seasonal items, discounts, promotions, and new regions will be a key responsibility. The planner will also analyze and troubleshoot demand-related issues promptly and accurately, maintaining demand planning processes to improve forecast accuracy. Additionally, the Inventory Demand Planner will assist in developing annual budgets and cost-effectiveness initiatives, providing routine and ad-hoc demand-related reports to management. Overseeing and maintaining optimal inventory levels in the warehouse through effective inventory planning and collaborating with vendors to ensure optimal delivery performance is also part of the role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory management or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong Excel skills.
