About the position

Ecolab is seeking an Inventory Lead to join their new logistics warehouse in High Point, NC. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and coordinating a team of Inventory Specialists. The Inventory Lead will be responsible for accurate material handling and cycle count functions, ensuring that the warehouse operates efficiently and meets safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy and coordinate a team of Inventory Specialists.
• Use handheld scanners, computers, and tablets to record inventory information and input received shipments.
• Utilize various equipment such as manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and propane lifts to move pallets.
• Verify quantities, quality of items, and proper labeling of products being shipped.
• Examine all packaging and contents of items for quality.
• Utilize SAP and Koerber to maintain accurate inventory counts.
• Coordinate with other departments such as customer service and production.
• Maintain the 5S cleanliness of the picking area and pull completed shrink-wrapped orders to the dock for packers.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies and warehouse procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 3 years of warehouse experience
• 2 years of Standup Forklift experience
• 1 year of experience using SAP for inventory management
• Basic computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma systems
