About the position

The Inventory Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate records of live inventory across multiple locations in the folding carton industry. This role involves tracking shipments, transfers, purchase orders, and conducting physical inventory counts, while ensuring effective communication with location managers to uphold inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of two to three inventory coordinators while actively participating in daily operations.
  • Gain a detailed understanding of inventory product needs, levels, and control systems.
  • Reconcile inbound receipts, shipments, transfers, and work orders as necessary.
  • Manage and oversee physical inventory counts and reconciliations at multiple locations throughout the year.
  • Distribute information to production departments regarding inventory status.
  • Support the Fulfillment Division by coordinating customer inventory needs.
  • Set up and train new employees.

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience with warehouse management system software.
  • 4 years of experience in warehouse management.
  • 4 years of experience in data entry.
  • Proficient in Excel with strong organizational skills.
  • Confident communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive demeanor with leadership and management skills.
