About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Inventory Manager to oversee our inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing materials management, with the ability to implement demand planning strategies. This role is crucial in ensuring that stock levels are maintained efficiently while minimizing costs and maximizing service levels.

Responsibilities

• Create production orders.
• Change the production order status to released.
• Report completion.
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Analyze demand planning data to forecast inventory needs and adjust with purchasing accordingly.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Manage the flow of materials throughout the supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of products to meet customer demands.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices in inventory management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• SAP Business One experience.
• Proven experience in inventory management and materials management.
• Proficiency in demand planning methodologies and tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis on inventory issues.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing stock levels.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve common goals.
