About the position

The Inventory Manager/Scheduler at Aerobond Composites LLC is responsible for overseeing materials management activities, including scheduling and inventory control. This role is crucial for ensuring that production and customer demands are met efficiently, while also maintaining safety stock levels and facilitating effective material disposition. The position requires collaboration with the Production Manager and Quality teams to enhance manufacturing flow and improve production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Handle materials management activities including scheduling and inventory control.
  • Work with Production Manager to plan and schedule to meet production/customer demand.
  • Monitor and set safety stock levels to meet delivery targets and inventory reduction goals.
  • Creation, distribution, and maintenance of job orders.
  • Ensure all materials are available for successful execution on the shop floor.
  • Perform cycle counts.
  • Plan and lead the physical inventory.
  • Responsible for receiving function.
  • Ensure all delivery receipts and put away processes are executed accurately and timely.
  • Ensure that all picking is completed and accurately entered.
  • Collaborate with Production Manager and Quality to improve manufacturing flow.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the production process and working conditions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced equivalent position in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with Epicor ERP system.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to focus on tasks.
  • Dependable and proactive attitude.
  • 4-year degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred but not required if equivalent experience is present.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs unassisted.
