About the position

The Inventory Manager Support Technician (SME) I at Aeyon is responsible for supporting materiel management initiatives at USSOCOM. This role involves performing complex research and analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory stock levels, ensuring compliance with various Department of Defense regulations and policies. The technician will also conduct audits, manage inventory records, and utilize Microsoft Office Suite to produce necessary documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex research and analysis to define root causes of inventory discrepancies.
• Cross-reference regulations, policies, and guidelines to implement corrective processes.
• Conduct comprehensive inventory control and validation processes in accordance with DOD regulations.
• Perform validation and audits on material movement and acceptance into the APSR.
• Verify shipments for serviceability, document number, nomenclature, NSN, and quantity.
• Assess ordering, tracking, delivery dates, and shipping requirements for on-time delivery.
• Conduct periodic physical asset inventories and asset location surveys.
• Perform monthly self-assessment audits of inventory in DPAS.
• Establish and maintain inventory/materials receiving and shipping records.
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to the Government Inventory Manager.

Requirements

• 2+ years of warehouse/logistical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of combined experience with DOD or other federal agency in Financial Management, Program Management, and/or Logistics.
• Minimum six months of experience operating in a Logistics Information System (LIS).

Nice-to-haves

• One year of SOF experience with knowledge of USSOCOM enterprise and subordinate organizations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
