About the position

The Inventory Manager will oversee and optimize inventory management processes, ensuring optimal inventory levels and accuracy while supervising inventory staff. This role involves developing strategies to meet customer demand, minimizing excess stock, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels.
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
• Ensure proper recording and tracking of all inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, adjustments, and returns.
• Analyze and manage inventory levels to balance stock requirements and maintain an efficient supply chain.
• Supervise and train inventory staff, providing guidance and support to promote optimal performance.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members to foster an efficient workflow.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory management efficiency.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies regarding inventory management.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and organized inventory storage environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in using ERP or WMS and other relevant software applications.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within a warehouse environment.
• Ability to analyze and problem-solve operational challenges.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
