About the position

The Inventory Manager at iThriveMD is responsible for managing and optimizing inventory operations to ensure efficient handling of shipments, receiving, and tracking of inventory usage. This role requires strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of inventory control systems to lead operational workflows effectively and meet company objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily inventory operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
  • Oversee shipment schedules, ensuring timely and accurate receipt and dispatch of goods.
  • Track inventory usage and maintain accurate records of on-hand balances.
  • Regularly conduct physical counts and reconcile any discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Place orders to replenish stock as needed, ensuring inventory levels align with business needs.
  • Monitor product turnover, implementing strategies to prevent overstock or stockouts.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and sales teams to ensure inventory is properly aligned with demand.
  • Maintain and optimize inventory management software for accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Provide regular inventory reports and updates to senior management.
  • Supervise and train a small team (if applicable) to ensure proper inventory practices are followed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality standards in all inventory-related activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Inventory Manager or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of inventory control, order management, and logistics.
  • Experience managing shipments, receiving processes, and tracking inventory usage.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working with large volumes of inventory data.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions based on inventory needs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience running a shipping team is a plus, but not required.
