From Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) to procurement, PTSolutions is a full-service provider committed to supporting our customers every step of the way. We are currently seeking an Inventory Manager to join our team. This role involves working onsite at our customers' manufacturing facilities to ensure that our tool and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) industrial vending machines are consistently stocked with the necessary products. As an entry-level position, this is an excellent opportunity to learn about the tool and MRO business while establishing relationships with assigned customers. Top performers in this role will have the opportunity for promotion to other positions within the team or the Sales team. Responsibilities

  • Deliver, receive, and stock our customers' products in our tool & MRO industrial vending machines.
  • Proactively monitor customers' open orders to ensure prompt delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor utilization data to establish order plans that align with department goals and ensure adequate stock levels of consignment and non-consignment inventory.
  • Effectively coordinate with the Area Sales Manager regarding customer accounts, issues, and feedback on operation status.
  • Prepare, complete, and distribute system-generated reports as required.
  • Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy for each machine at each customer.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist with other projects and duties as required by the business.

Requirements

  • Some college coursework completed; training from a trade school is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be age 21+ to drive a company vehicle.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficient use of a Windows computer and Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Self-directed with a high level of productivity, personal organization, and attention to detail.
  • Customer-centric attitude with a desire to grow and contribute to a customer-focused company.
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in inventory management or supply chain operations.
  • Familiarity with industrial tools and MRO products.
