About the position

The Inventory Manager at Pipeworx Plumbing is responsible for managing the shop and assisting with plumbing tasks. This role requires a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a team environment. The position offers opportunities for growth into plumbing roles and involves various responsibilities related to inventory management and support for plumbing operations.

Responsibilities

• Pulling and ordering materials for jobs
• Restocking shop and technician trucks with materials used the previous day
• Working with plumbers on jobs with the potential to shift to plumbing full-time
• Maintaining a tidy shop including sweeping, trash management, and organizing
• Using a software system to view jobs and reference parts or equipment needed
• Running errands for the office a few times a week
• Driving to pick up or drop off materials, sometimes up to 45 minutes away
• Communicating with customers

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of plumbing fittings and tools
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
