About the position

The Inventory Manager at Jubilation Wine, Spirits and Beer is responsible for overseeing and managing inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability of products. This role involves utilizing warehouse management systems and POS to track inventory movements, conducting audits, and driving process improvements within the inventory management procedures, particularly in a liquor retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability of products when products arrive via invoices from wholesalers.
• Utilize warehouse management system/POS to track inventory movements, perform cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with inventory management procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a liquor retail or warehouse environment dealing with alcohol.
• Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques and best practices with alcohol.
• Proficiency in using POS management systems to track and manage inventory.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong simple mathematical skills: multiplying, dividing, addition and subtraction.
• Strong detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in managing inventory records.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must have working knowledge within the liquor industry.
