About the position

The Inventory Operations Manager at Chick-fil-A Harbor Blvd is a full-time, hourly position responsible for overseeing inventory management and operational excellence within the restaurant. This role involves leading a team, ensuring adherence to Chick-fil-A standards, and fostering a positive work culture. The manager will engage in various responsibilities including inventory organization, staff training, and maintaining high service quality to provide remarkable experiences for guests.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and executing all Truck Shifts
  • Receiving truck and managing inventory organization
  • Ordering and receiving product
  • Identifying, processing, and returning damaged products
  • Managing all store inventory
  • Maintaining pars and restaurant standards
  • Restocking and facing product
  • Completing a full inventory of the business once a month
  • Following LEAN processes and procedures for quality and inventory control
  • Engaging the team to uphold Chick-fil-A standards of excellence
  • Stewarding the training, development, and care of team members and shift leaders
  • Developing and leading training programs in the area of the business
  • Training and communicating with staff professionally and effectively
  • Conducting business analysis and success
  • Facilitating team communication and engagement
  • Collaborating with other leaders on projects
  • Assessing and reviewing employee performance and development
  • Providing remarkable experiences for guests that are fast, accurate, and safe
  • Performing food safety and quality practices and measures
  • Maintaining a sparkling clean store
  • Achieving annual and 90-Day Performance Goals

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds for brief and short distances
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the restaurant industry
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven management experience
  • Ability to speak and understand English
  • Open availability between Monday-Saturday between 5am-2pm

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to speak Spanish or American Sign Language
  • Previous leadership experience in a high-speed, quick service restaurant environment
