About the position

The Inventory Operations Specialist at Hilton Grand Vacations plays a crucial role in managing inventory requests and ensuring compliance with corporate policies. This position is responsible for daily inventory processes, data compilation, and providing high-level customer service to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Respond in a timely and professional manner to requests received by the Inventory Management email inbox and the HGV Room Request email inbox.
  • Perform daily, monthly, and annual room night allocations in alignment with overall business strategy.
  • Create and maintain group block inventory in compliance with department policy and contracted group sales.
  • Assist with daily out of service requests from properties and manage any related inventory issues.
  • Responsible for maintaining affiliated resort partnership reporting and auditing unsold developer inventory.
  • Process club creation fixed week reservations for new contract sales.
  • Monitor and assist properties with current or future reservations.
  • Provide suggestions for owner inventory campaigns to improve optimization and meet targets.
  • Manage Salesforce queue of inventory requests for club members in partnership with club and owner services team.
  • Support new HGV Max Membership program benefit for cross Shop and Book across the HGV and DRI network.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • 2 or more years of experience in the hospitality industry, such as Front Desk, Reservations, Club or Inventory Control areas.
  • Strong skillset for data input and working within an operating system.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, well organized, and able to multi-task.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of inventory management best practices.
