About the position

The Inventory Control Par Technician at AdventHealth Winter Park is responsible for managing inventory supplies and materials functions across various departments. This part-time role involves tasks such as inventory reconciliation, generating requisitions for special orders, and ensuring the accuracy of stock items. The technician plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient inventory levels, tracking orders, and communicating with clinical teams to support patient care effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support departments with par cart supply and materials functions.
• Perform inventory reconciliation and generate requisitions for special orders.
• Order select stock items and track their status.
• Receive special and stock items, restocking designated inventory areas.
• Tag and register high-spend items into point of use (POU) or RFID systems.
• Manage inventory by adjusting par levels and ensuring accuracy of bin locations.
• Work with clinical systems to charge patients and synchronize data.
• Generate and review reports related to supplies and expense charges.
• Communicate changes in inventory or incidences of unavailable inventory to supply chain and clinical teams.
• Participate in customer service and maintain respectful relationships.
