About the position

The Inventory Planning Manager is responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels through strategic planning, forecasting, and collaboration with supply chain partners. This role focuses on improving accuracy, minimizing stockouts, and balancing costs to support operational goals and enhance customer satisfaction. The position involves leading a team of Inventory Planners and requires effective communication and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal inventory levels through strategic planning and forecasting.
• Collaborate with supply chain partners to enhance inventory management.
• Lead and develop a team of Inventory Planners, setting a clear vision and goals.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams for timely inventory replenishment.
• Provide actionable insights based on inventory data to support data-driven strategies.
• Mitigate risks related to stockouts and overstock, developing contingency plans as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements in inventory management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in supply chain, inventory management, purchasing, or logistics.
• Demonstrated record in resolving complex issues.
• Proficiency using business intelligence solutions, such as Power BI.
• Ability to analyze historical data to estimate future demand and determine appropriate inventory levels.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Highly customer-oriented with a proactive approach.

• Experience with inventory management systems and technology.
