About the position

The Inventory Planning Specialist is responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock counts, and supporting the efficiency of the distribution center. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, supply chain management, and data analysis to optimize inventory processes.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures.
  • Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations and stock levels.
  • Work in cooperation with production planning and logistics to reduce inventory inaccuracy.
  • Check and review inventory levels, data integrity to ensure the inventory plan generates accurate information.
  • Responsible for forecasting inventory and replenish inventory.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet corporate goals.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and enhance overall productivity.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain management.
  • Experience in data analysis to optimize inventory processes.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly retrieve, manipulate, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Strong quantitative skills through knowledge of statistics and quantitative data analysis and interpretation.
  • Ability to translate analysis to audience and communicate recommendations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in Chinese preferred.
  • Inventory coordination experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
  • ERP experience a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with good follow through to ensure job completion and accuracy.
  • Good organizational skills, ability and willingness to help solve complex supply scenarios.
  • People oriented nature resulting in a drive to help others; resulting in strong customer service and responsiveness.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to tailor a message for the recipient.
