Ideal Partners is seeking a Parts and Inventory Manager to join a growing team in Lubbock, TX. This position is crucial for overseeing the management and organization of the company's inventory and warehouse operations. The successful candidate will ensure the availability of essential parts and materials to support production and retail sales while maintaining precise inventory tracking. The role encompasses all facets of supply chain management and inventory oversight, which are vital for the smooth operation of the business. The Parts and Inventory Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining an efficient warehouse system, ensuring proper material management across the organization. This includes procuring all necessary parts and materials for seamless operational functionality, managing the expedited receipt and processing of inventory, and preparing, relocating, and/or shipping parts as needed for production or sales purposes. The position requires strong technical problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail to ensure that inventory levels are maintained accurately and efficiently. The company promotes a culture of continuous improvement, making it essential for the Parts and Inventory Manager to be proactive in identifying areas for enhancement within the inventory management processes. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management and organization of the company's inventory and warehouse operations.
  • Ensure the availability of essential parts and materials to support production and retail sales.
  • Maintain precise inventory tracking.
  • Develop and maintain an efficient warehouse system for proper material management.
  • Procure all necessary parts and materials for operational functionality.
  • Manage the expedited receipt and processing of inventory.
  • Prepare, relocate, and/or ship parts as needed for production or sales purposes.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in purchasing (required).
  • 1 year of negotiation experience (preferred).
  • Experience in procurement, inventory management, or mechanical roles related to heavy equipment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Lean and 5S methodologies.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or SOS inventory software.
