About the position

The Inventory Receiving Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory in procedural areas with complex supply needs and performing receiving functions. This role involves ensuring a positive supply chain experience for customers and requires effective communication with management, staff, and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory in procedural areas with complex supply needs.
• Perform receiving functions for inventory.
• Work with customers to ensure a positive supply chain experience.
• Communicate effectively with management, staff, and physicians.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent or a combination of education and directly applicable related work experience.
• 2 years experience in a warehouse/supply environment using an electronic inventory management system.
• Ability to operate office equipment, computers, fax, copier, etc.
• Understanding and utilization of the inventory, distribution, and receiving capabilities of the MMIS system.
• Ability to adapt to change at a rapid pace and perform work functions with considerable interruptions.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push wheeled carts weighing up to 800lbs over hard surfaces.

Nice-to-haves

• Medical Supply Chain experience preferred.
• Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician, as applicable.
