About the position

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for overseeing inventory management, data collection, procurement, supplier management, sourcing, materials handling, and materials management. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring smooth operations within our organization. The Inventory Specialist will manage and maintain accurate inventory records using designated systems, coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary materials in a timely manner, and conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies. Additionally, the specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize shortages, monitor stock levels, and initiate restocking procedures as needed. Implementing efficient materials handling practices to streamline operations is also a key responsibility of this position. The role requires working with PS World and FedEx, handling both small pack and LTL shipments, and operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts. Attention to detail is paramount, as most of the jobs are done by hand since they involve lightweight and small items, utilizing paper pick lists instead of RF scanners.

Responsibilities

Requirements
