About the position

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for executing and overseeing the cycle counting process to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory. This role focuses on conducting systematic counts of inventory items, maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory, identifying discrepancies, and implementing efficient inventory control procedures. The position operates during the 3rd shift, primarily from Sunday to Thursday, with occasional Friday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents and maintain data related to shipping activities.
• Conduct and manage the physical inventory process of all products.
• Monitor and conduct physical inventory counts, analyze variances, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Determine inventory differences and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct cycle counting on a daily basis.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work environment.
• Perform additional duties as required or requested.

Requirements

• High School Education or equivalent required.
• 1 year of inventory experience required.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience required.
• One year of experience operating a forklift required.
• Ability to use a computer or tablet is a plus.
• Good communication skills are necessary.
• Strong organizational skills are required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure is essential.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
