About the position

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing HUB operations and ensuring timely fulfillment of orders while collaborating with the store management team. This role involves various inventory management tasks, compliance with company policies, and training team members under the direction of the General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Pull and ship HUB orders on time.
• Communicate with servicing store if HUB order can't be filled.
• Complete all parts department cycle counts including OUTS with store management team.
• Work with store management to complete all parts department planograms.
• Stock all parts department parts in collaboration with store management.
• Complete all parts department callbacks with store management.
• Implement MAXI changes in parts department with store management.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Complete required training materials and attend scheduled store meetings.
• Train and develop Team Members as directed by the General Manager.
• Coordinate product delivery, maintain inventories, and prepare daily transaction records.
• Ensure compliance with established security, customer service, and record-keeping policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior retail experience, including basic merchandising and inventory management skills.
• Competent in oral and written communications and basic math computations.
• Ability to drive a forklift, if certified and applicable.
• Good manual skills (gross and fine finger dexterity).
• Ability to meet and deal with the public in an unbiased manner.
• Demonstrated stability and performance results in previous work records.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification to drive a forklift.
• Experience in inventory management systems.
