Inventory Specialist

About the position

The Inventory Specialist at West Coast Arborists, Inc. is responsible for collecting and maintaining tree inventory data using GIS-based tools and other methods. This role involves field data collection, inventory updates, and collaboration with internal staff and external partners to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Responsibilities

• Collect and maintain tree inventory data using handheld devices.
• Prepare and organize work plans for the inventory updating process.
• Collaborate with various partner staff on tree inventory functions.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements

• High level of organizational skills and computer literacy.
• Knowledge of arboriculture, including tree/planting species identification.
• College course work in Arboriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Currently hold or obtain ISA Certified Arborist Credential.
• Proficiency in GIS-based systems and inventory software, preferred.
• Prior experience in tree inventory or related positions.
• Valid Driver's License.
