About the position

The Inventory Control Supervisor at Capacity LLC is responsible for overseeing all inventory control processes for their assigned team, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards. This role involves managing staff performance, conducting root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies, and reporting on inventory status. The supervisor will also train and develop team members while ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy.
  • Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories.
  • Supervise all inventory processes, staff performance and development, root cause analysis, and reporting for their assigned team.
  • Manage cycle counts of product inventories regularly.
  • Supervise physical inventory for clients.
  • Responsible for counter & coordinator training, audits, and feedback.
  • Provide coordinator support and be the first point of contact for coordinator's concerns/issues.
  • Lead projects, assign work/cases, track & manage on-time completion of cases, approvals, and monitor case closures to ensure accuracy.
  • Send case discrepancy escalations to operations.
  • Manage the completion of daily reports & complete feedback logs for inventory control and operations.
  • Lead others in safe work practices and be the first point of contact for safety concerns/issues.
  • Notify client services when damaged/defective products are discovered.
  • Coordinate and align with various departments during an inventory process.
  • Train other employees in inventory management.

Requirements

  • Intermediate - Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and math skills.
  • 5 years of experience in retail or DC operations as Team Lead or Supervisor, preferably in Inventory Control / Quality Control.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or related field.
