About the position

The Inventory & Warehouse Analyst/Principal Inventory & Warehouse Analyst position at Northrop Grumman involves analyzing material flow within the warehouse, developing strategic plans, and implementing work processes to enhance inventory management. The role requires strong analytical and organizational skills, with a focus on problem resolution and process improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze flow of material within the warehouse
• Conduct data forensics to identify root causes and corrective actions
• Develop strategic plans that cross multiple functions (GSC, Production Control, and OPM)
• Define and implement work processes across the warehouse
• Prioritize output of material through planning, scheduling, and inventory control
• Identify and resolve drivers of lost material and kitting delays

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; or a Master's degree with experience in a manufacturing environment; 6 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Experience working in inventory management
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) U.S. Secret Level Security clearance
• For Principal Inventory & Warehouse Analyst: Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; 9 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment may be considered in lieu of a degree

Nice-to-haves

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, or other closely related field
• MRP/ERP business system experience (SAP preferred)
• Experience in MRP and Production Control
• Experience operating a Forklift or Scissor lift
