About the position

Automation Personnel Services is seeking an Inventory Warehouse Associate for LG in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring the warehouse runs smoothly by maintaining accurate inventory records and organizing the inventory areas. The position requires a proactive approach to inventory management, ensuring that all records are kept up to date and discrepancies are addressed promptly. You will collaborate with team members to receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring that all items are accounted for and stored correctly. Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping the inventory storage areas clean and well-organized, which is crucial for maintaining an efficient workflow in the warehouse. As an Inventory Warehouse Associate, you will also be expected to uphold company policies and procedures for inventory control. This includes performing inventory procedures accurately and with the utmost integrity. You will work closely with your team to optimize inventory management processes, contributing to the overall efficiency of the warehouse operations. Other duties may be assigned by management as needed, requiring flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities within the warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Prior experience in inventory control or a related field is preferred.
  • Bilingual - English and Spanish.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to perform retail math calculations.
  • Knowledge of industry safety regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with direction from supervisor/team lead.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds - Lifting Assessment will be administered.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist during shift, up to 8 hours or more.
  • Ability to read and follow directions.
