About the position

PTE Systems International, a well-established and growing Specialty Construction Manufacturer/Subcontractor/Engineering firm, is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in Nashville, TN. This position is crucial for supporting various operational needs within our expanding location. The successful candidate will be involved in a range of tasks including inventory management, packaging, staging, loading and unloading trucks, and deliveries. Additionally, the role will require maintaining equipment and performing some clerical work, as well as troubleshooting issues at job sites. Candidates must possess a clean criminal background and be able to pass a drug test to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory management and control
• Package and stage materials for delivery
• Load and unload trucks efficiently
• Deliver materials to job sites as required
• Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
• Perform clerical tasks related to inventory and deliveries
• Troubleshoot issues at job sites as needed

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Experience with general warehousing
• Experience in hydraulics and repair of equipment is a plus
• Experience in inventory control and assemblies is a plus
• Experience in concrete repair, post-tension, and/or as an iron worker/rod buster is a major plus
• Ability to efficiently complete various tasks
• Working experience in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation
• Bi-lingual skills preferred, with some English proficiency

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in concrete repair
• Experience as an iron worker or rod buster
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems
