About the position

The Inventory Warehouse Specialist position is a temp-to-perm role located in Malvern, Pennsylvania, offering a competitive hourly wage of $19 to $22. This position is essential for maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management within the warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing physical counts of products, entering these counts into the ERP system, and maintaining printed count sheets. Additionally, the role involves preliminary reconciliation activities as per documented work instructions. The Inventory Warehouse Specialist will assist the inventory control specialist with variance identification and root cause analysis within the ERP system. The responsibilities extend to assisting with documentation and material pull audits, as well as posting transactions in the ERP system. The specialist will review incoming and outbound material paperwork to verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of deliveries. Collaboration with internal departments is crucial to locate any missing products, correct deliveries, and replace damaged items. The role also includes labeling and transporting incoming materials to specified storage locations, loading and unloading trailers, and re-stacking pallets as necessary. Other clerical warehouse tasks may be required as well. This position requires working in a smoke-free, non-temperature controlled environment, standing for extended periods, and the potential for up to 5 hours of overtime per week. The shift for this role is the second shift, from 4 PM to 12:30 AM, with the possibility of overtime on Saturdays during the fall and winter months. Candidates must be experienced, reliable, and hard-working, with a high school diploma or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical counts of the product and enter counts into the ERP system.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
