About the position

The Inventory Warehouseman at Superior Completion Services plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management within the warehouse. This position involves hands-on responsibilities such as maintaining inventory records, receiving and unloading shipments, preparing outgoing orders, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. The role requires collaboration with team members to meet production targets and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and conducting regular cycle counts.
• Receiving incoming shipments, inspecting for accuracy and damage, and unloading goods.
• Utilizing computer software for inventory transactions and locating parts within the warehouse.
• Preparing outgoing shipments, generating shipping labels, and loading products for delivery.
• Selecting items from stock to fulfill customer orders and preparing them for the assembly shop.
• Inspecting products for quality control and reporting any discrepancies to the Quality department.
• Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move goods within the warehouse.
• Keeping the warehouse organized and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintaining proper documentation on all orders, shipments, and inventory transactions.
• Coordinating with team members and supervisors regarding inventory status and order fulfillment.
• Identifying and resolving issues related to damaged goods or discrepancies in inventory.
• Adhering to safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 to 3 years of related experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• 1 to 3 years of Forklift experience and certification for at least one year.
• Basic math skills for business calculations.
• Computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Proficient in the operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the oil and gas industry.
