About the position

The Inventory Associate plays a crucial role in managing and tracking products at MAC.BID, a company that specializes in selling customer returns and overstock items through online auctions. This full-time position involves ensuring that all products are accurately accounted for, either on shelves or picked up by customers, and requires a detail-oriented and organized individual to maintain inventory integrity.

Responsibilities

• Daily scan all purchased product still on shelves, in order of auction close date
• Ensure product is situated on correct shelves
• Ensure all items are either in warehouse properly or scanned as picked up by customer
• Review missing product list to search for missing items
• Escalate missing product to general manager if not found
• Organize/neaten product for easy retrieval (bar codes on outside, product stacked safely)
• Be proficient with inventory check interface dashboard
• Know how auction items are categorized on the shelves, including auction and lot numbers
• May help with removal if workload dictates
• Other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be available to work onsite Monday - Friday 8 hours with a half hour lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be tech savvy
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail oriented
