About the position

The Investment Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting Investment Officers at First Point Wealth Management by providing exceptional service to clients. This position focuses on investment services, including asset allocation strategies, trade execution, investment analysis, and asset transfer processing, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and prospects.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, processes, and follows up on asset transfers and funding of investment accounts.
• Implements initial and subsequent asset allocation and rebalances trades.
• Processes proposal amendments, monitors alerts, and conducts annual reviews.
• Executes buy or sell orders and rebalancing orders.
• Follows up on trade rejects and resolves all trade-related issues.
• Monitors holdings for program eligibility and administers advisory accounts.
• Participates in special projects as needed.
• Handles additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Qualification as a registered representative (General Securities Representative, Series 7) or able to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Basic computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Demonstrated analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Ability to adhere to company, industry, and regulatory standards and requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and perform several tasks simultaneously.
