About the position

The Investigations Specialist at ABC Legal Services is responsible for conducting investigations to locate individuals and businesses for service of process. This role involves utilizing databases to gather information and communicating findings to co-workers and customers. The position is remote but requires candidates to be located in the United States, and it is part of a fast-paced Investigations Team focused on achieving daily goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations to locate individuals and businesses by reviewing findings for the subject of service of process and cross-referencing previous aspects of an order.
• Communicate findings to customers and co-workers as needed.
• Answer investigations related phone calls and emails.
• Update procedural documents and review existing procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of related experience required.
• Experience in an office environment and/or customer-facing position preferred.
• Ability to work remotely with a strong work ethic.
• Reliable with the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality with privileged information.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with peers.
• Openness to learning new things and responding positively to feedback.
• Technical savvy, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new systems.
