About the position

Dolcefino Consulting is seeking an Investigative Media Journalist to join their investigative media team. This role involves conducting in-depth research, analyzing public records, and preparing content for social media. The ideal candidate will be an aggressive journalist with strong interviewing skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment focused on exposing public corruption and injustice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analyze public records to identify leads.
• Write and prepare content for the social media news site of Dolcefino Consulting.
• Conduct contentious interviews as needed.
• Communicate effectively with the President of the company regarding production status.
• Manage multiple key initiatives and projects concurrently.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism or a related field.
• 2 years of journalism experience, preferably in broadcast journalism.
• 1 year of on-camera interviewing experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to write and edit effectively.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in private investigation.
• Ability to work weekends and nights as needed.
