About The Position
The Office of the Attorney General of Maryland is seeking part-time to full-time contractual CODIS Hit Investigators to provide investigative support for local law enforcement agencies. The role focuses on investigating and following up on CODIS hits related to sexual assault evidence kits (SAEKs) as part of the Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) grant. Investigators will also assist in entering eligible cases into the Violent Crime Apprehension Program (ViCAP) and provide training on trauma-informed investigative strategies.
