About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Investigator to support the Forensic Quality Control and Operations group. This role involves reviewing Digital Forensic Work Orders and cases, assisting in the creation and updating of policies and procedures, and participating in the testing and monitoring of work performed by the Computer Crimes and Forensic Investigations Team (CCFIT). The Investigator will ensure quality control reviews are conducted effectively and maintain compliance with forensic workstations while providing Evidence Management support to investigations.

Responsibilities

  • Review Digital Forensic Work Orders and cases.
  • Assist in creating and updating policies, procedures, and work documents for the Work Order Review program.
  • Perform and document quality review activities related to CCFIT policies, processes, and requirements.
  • Conduct review activities to ensure controls are designed and operating effectively.
  • Ensure all quality control reviews are conducted and stored according to procedure.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest guidance, including policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance of patching and updates on Forensic workstations while testing and documenting results.
  • Provide Evidence Management support to Investigations.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal team members as required.
  • Consult with management and business partners on strategic approaches and business performance improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Investigations experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 1+ year of Control experience.
  • Experience with control documentation.
  • Experience testing and monitoring the work of others.
  • Experience creating and updating new policies, procedures, and work documents.
  • Familiarity with digital forensics from a practical or theoretical perspective.
  • Experience with Evidence Management.
  • Experience working with the Microsoft Operating system.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision and manage work requests effectively.
  • Ability to handle confidential material professionally.
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity and maintain momentum.
