About the position
The position provides tactical support for Vanguard's global investment access and business continuity risk management program. It focuses on the governance of investment access and business continuity risk management strategies, ensuring effective risk assessments, monitoring, and reporting to enhance the organization's resilience and operational continuity.
Responsibilities
- Supports the development of strong risk assessments, change management practices, internal risk monitoring and reporting infrastructure, targeted reviews, controls assurance, and external monitoring programs.
- Conducts advanced investment access and business continuity risk assessments, analyzes results of testing, and makes recommendations for new reporting.
- Ensures consistent implementation of global investment access and business continuity risk policies and procedures.
- Develops and maintains metrics to effectively communicate the status of measures.
- Leads the development of effective and efficient risk monitoring and reporting routines.
- Develops and maintains knowledge of financial markets, securities, and general investment themes to inform risk management processes and policies.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Knowledge of access management and business continuity.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with investment preferred, but not required.
