About the position

The Investment Advisor role involves providing comprehensive support for various investment products, including mutual funds, ETFs, and segregated funds. This position is crucial for ensuring operational efficiency and delivering after-sales support to both internal and external stakeholders in the personal wealth and asset management sectors. The advisor will engage in data analysis, reporting, and liaising with vendors to enhance client services and operational processes.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between vendors and investment advisors
  • Maintain and update security for equities, fixed income, and private companies
  • Analyze data to perform day-to-day price variance reports for securities
  • Design, develop, and implement innovative analytical solutions to improve client reporting
  • Produce regular reports as required
  • Daily monitor and update spot rates as per client requirements
  • Gather and format data into regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards
  • Support change management of varying scope and type
  • Function as a problem-solving resource for junior staff
  • Organize work information to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Execute routine tasks such as service requests, transactions, and queries within relevant service level agreements
  • Provide accurate and timely processing of transactions and services to respond to stakeholder requests
  • Respond to internal/external stakeholder questions and requests with accurate information
  • Follow documented policies and procedures to execute day-to-day transactions and meet all Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Monitor team mailboxes
  • Handle missing price inquiries and correct missed or incorrect prices
  • Set up security & GAC
  • Set up equity for private placements

Requirements

  • Knowledge of vendor sources like Bloomberg, Eikon, and Fundserv
  • Understanding of capital market products (Equities, Derivatives, and Fixed income securities)
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel functionality

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Broadridge (ADP) and FIS (Global Plus)
