Investment Bank Non-Financial Risk - Associate

About the position

The Investment Bank Non-Financial Risk Associate role involves supporting the management of non-financial risk and divisional controls within the Investment Bank. This position is integral to the Americas Investment Bank's first line of defense (1LOD) function, focusing on developing and maintaining controls, supporting the Risk and Control Assessment (RCA) process, and managing the remediation book of work. The role requires strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate with business owners and second line of defense (2LOD) teams.

Responsibilities

• Support project management of the Americas regulatory remediation book of work, including coordination with 1LOD and 2LOD partners.
• Lead coordination of the end-to-end process and controls mapping for the Americas RCA remediation and BAU book of work.
• Support the Operational Resiliency Program within the Investment Bank, focusing on operational disruptions.
• Assist with ongoing regulatory reporting, monitoring, and governance.
• Manage non-financial risk and control management for the Investment Bank, ensuring compliance with laws and internal policies.

Requirements

• Experience in banking and understanding of business controls.
• Background in Non-Financial Risk Management (NFR).
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to interface with 1LOD business owners and 2LOD.
