About the position

The Origination & Advisory - Banker - Healthcare position at Deutsche Bank is designed for professionals who will support the execution of live transactions within the Healthcare Investment Banking coverage team. This role involves preparing detailed memoranda and presentations, analyzing client companies, and developing advanced financial analyses and models. The position is critical in providing comprehensive financial advisory and capital raising services, particularly in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and restructuring advice.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of live transactions for the Healthcare Investment Banking coverage team.
• Prepare detailed memoranda and presentations for client interactions.
• Analyze key attributes of client companies using financial, economic, quantitative, and qualitative methods.
• Develop advanced financial analyses and models.
• Issue final reports of client interactions to senior management and maintain ongoing communication.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience providing quantitative and analytical support for M&A and capital markets transactions, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience supporting senior bankers across all stages of a transaction lifecycle, including pitching, preparing marketing materials, and deal execution.
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry is preferred, but not necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, engineering, or life sciences is preferred; advanced degree preferred.
• Series 79 and 63 licensing preferred.
